Subscribers are now going to be able to subscribe to their favourite teams using Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD).

Wondering what this is or how its going to work?

All that a subscriber has to do is type *189# and they will get a menu with all the Barclays Premiership Teams. They can then choose the team for which they would want to get updates.

As is the norm, subscription is FREE, and on subscription, you will be advised on how much the service costs and how to unsubscribe (toll free).

Note:

This however available to MTN customers for now, and please note that postpaid customers cannot enjoy this service yet.
